Happy New Year!

Well, I never promised to write every day when I started this blog.  The holidays were pretty busy for me with trying to figure out what wedding stuff needed to be done, and then traveling, seeing my family and actually doing the wedding stuff.  Most everything got done, or at least decided so we know what to do.  I feel a lot better about it now. :-)

We moved Tim into our NEW HOUSE yesterday.  We will be renting the bottom half of a duplex, and Tim and Evil Cat Max moved in yesterday.  I was looking forward to Max living over at the house for a long time because I was getting really tired of him biting me and thought that he would be happier at the house because we'll both be over there more often than at my place so he'll get more attention and therefore will bite less.  But last night, my first night without him, I was actually not wanting to go home because I would be totally alone.  But it's fine now. :-)

When I got home a couple of days ago and tried to start my car, it wouldn't start.  Tim jump started it with his car, but I would drive it somewhere, let it sit, and then it wouldn't start again.  We had to jump start it three times that day.  I took it to the shop today and had to get a new battery.  I also had a lugnut that had been needing to be replaced, so I got that done too, and the total ended up being $4 more than what I received for Christmas.  So, thank you to God for providing exactly what I needed. :-)

Tim and I went yesterday to talk to the cable company to see if we could get internet from them without getting TV and all that because the house has satellite.  However, in order to get high speed internet, you have to buy a bundle, and there was a package that included a cell phone, and since it would be cheaper than adding me to Tim's plan, which is what we were planning on doing when we were married, we did it, and I got a new slider phone.  I like it a lot.  I'm still trying to figure out how to do everything, and it doesn't use a SIM card, so I can't just transfer all my contacts...I have to enter them individually, which is what I'm going to continue doing after I finish this blog.

Speaking of blogs, my brother has an AWESOME blog: www.jtslider.blogspot.com.  He is a student at a radio broadcasting school in Dallas, and he has started recording, and podcasting a show called "The Drawing Board", as well as writing different things on his blog that relate to his episodes.  It's all about "taking the world back for God" and I highly recommend reading it and especially listening to his episodes.  He is so smart and God has really blessed him with the intelligence and talent to be able to share this important message! Check it out!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and happy new year!
